A Typical Installation may include the following:
Major Parts:
1. DataStorm or Television Antenna
2. Controller
3. Modem
4. Router, (router purchase extra)
5. BOW for TV with DataStorm if necessary, (BOW purchase extra)
6. Television Antenna
Mounting exterior equipment:
1. Cleaning and preparing the roof surface area prior to installation
2. Carefully lifting the equipment to the roof surface
3. Attaching the antenna directly to the roof surface
4. Attaching the wires, wrapped in loom directly to the roof surface
A. DataStorm systems includes 3 cables; 1 control & 2 coax
B. DataStorm systems with BOW includes up to 2 coax cables
C. Televisions system normally includes 2 coax cables
5. Drill 1 one inch hole through the roof surface into an interior cabinet area (not in slide)
6. Sealing all screws holes and the wire hole, to be made water tight with the industry
standard and MotoSat’s prescribed Dicor sealer
Mounting interior equipment:
1. Install Controller, Modem and Router
2. Attach all wires securely, per industry standards
Clean up, system operating instructions and final paperwork are all that is left. DataStorm of
Florida will give you detailed instructions and complete information through the sale, installation
and future use of your MotoSat Internet and/or Television Antenna. Our service doesn’t end with
the delivery of your antenna. We will be your 1st Tier Technical Support if that time ever arises.
