DATASTORM U.S.A., DATASTORM OF FLORIDA INC.
|

11. Q. Are there limitations on where can I receive the Internet?
A. Generally all you need is a clear view of the southern sky to find the satellite
and connect for Internet access. Limitations on where geographically you can
receive satellite Internet are largely based on the dish size of the mount you have
and the satellite footprint, or area where the satellite has optimal power enough to
operate when sending and receiving data. For example a .74 meter dish has a
smaller geographical area when connecting to the satellite then a 1.2 meter dish
on the same satellite because the 1.2 meter dish has a higher gain, or the satellite’
s dish ability see the satellite signal. The DataStorm can be used almost
anywhere in North America and can also be used many places worldwide.
Consult with your installer and satellite service provider for the best combination
based on where you travel. See; HughesNet Mobile Satellite Footprint;
HughesNet Enterprise Satellite Footprints; IDirect Satellite Footprints.
